Our Grade-A, 100% cashmere is handmade in Nepal, sourced from the native Himalayan Mountain goat - Capra Hircus Laniger, which inhabits an environment characterized by significant temperature variations between day and night, leading to the development of a finer, more prized undercoat known as down.

To ensure that all our cashmere pieces reflect our high standards, within Madame Magdalena's ecosystem, we employ a handful of local Nepalese women who hand-make every piece. We support and provide lifelong skill development for these women. All our cashmere pieces are hand-loomed by our craftswomen.
